Friends' actor Lisa Kudrow celebrated her 62nd birthday on July 30 and received a sweet birthday tribute from her former co-star and longtime best friend. She shared a series of photos from the birthday celebration while paying tribute to Lisa, who played the indelible Phoebe Buffay on the iconic NBC sitcom.
Courteney Cox took to her Instagram and shared an inside glimpse of the birthday celebration. Alongside the photos, she penned in the caption, “I have looked up to this person since the day I met her. She’s bold, she’s smart, she’s articulate, she cares deeply and loves even deeper.”
She added, “There’s never a time that I don’t feel better for having seen her. Happy birthday my Loot! I love you.”
Courteney started the slides with a sweet photo of Lisa, as they shared a laugh together. She continued the slide with a solo photo of Lisa, followed by a selfie with Lisa and Matt LeBlanc.
The little reunion of Lisa, Courteney and Matt sent the fans into a frenzy.
Courteney’s latest post came after she recalled the behind-the-scenes preparations before filming the iconic show, Friends, in front of a live audience.
During her recent appearance at the Inc. 5000, the annual conference and gala celebrating the fastest-growing private companies in America, Courteney recalled, “We’d get in a huddle and we would say, 'Alright everybody! Good luck!' And we'd give each other a hug and a high five.”
Friends premiered for the first time in 1994 and also featured Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, with several star-studded guest appearances of celebs like Brad Pitt, Paul Rudd and others.
The original cast reunited for the first time in 2021 for a TV special, Friends: The Reunion.
