The 2025 edition of FESTA is more than just a celebration after two years of longing, during which time members are performing their military duties and group activities are on hold.

In good news for BTS ARMY, the much awaited comeback of BTS boys is set to be held as BTS has officially launched the 2025 BTS FESTA, marking their 12th debut anniversary with flair, heart, and the unmistakable BTS touch.

The 2025 edition of FESTA is more than just a celebration after two years of longing, during which time members are performing their military duties and group activities are on hold. It's a reunion in progress, a very emotional build-up to BTS's eagerly awaited reunion as a whole—OT7.

The group released a self-produced video titled [2025 FESTA] BTS News on their official YouTube channel on May 31 to kick off the celebrations. In the humorous video, J-Hope plays a quirky, vivacious reporter, while Jin, who is well-known as "World Wide Handsome," takes the anchor's seat. The less than ten-minute skit is full of inside jokes, playful self-references, and witty banter—classic BTS humour that deepens the special connection between the members and their fans.

J-Hope portrays a number of characters in the video, including a humorous 12-year veteran of the armed forces who makes a tongue-in-cheek weather report prediction of "over 30°C of fan excitement." In a playful reference to BTS's official debut, he even quips that June 13 and 14 will be "6.13°C hotter than usual."

This year’s FESTA carries the theme “Twelve O’Clock,” inspired by BTS’s moving track 00:00 (Zero O’Clock)—a song that speaks of quiet new beginnings and finding strength in fresh starts. The metaphor couldn’t be more fitting, capturing where both BTS and ARMY stand in this moment: full of anticipation, heart, and hope.

BigHit Music fuelled the excitement on June 1 by announcing that the KINTEX 2 Exhibition Centre in South Korea will host a special two-day offline FESTA event on June 13 and 14. The event is intended to be a massive, immersive experience that honours the band's legacy and encourages fans to actively participate in the celebration, making it far more than a normal fan meet.

Exclusive exhibits, installations with a BTS theme, interactive booths, and areas specifically designed for fans to interact, think, and relive some of the most memorable moments of the group's 12-year history are all anticipated by attendees. The celebrations will run from 10 AM to 7 PM, with doors opening at 9 AM KST. Fans have been urged by BigHit to arrive early in order to fully enjoy the event.

While Jin and J-Hope—both having completed their military service—are spearheading this year’s FESTA, fans are also eagerly looking ahead. RM, SUGA, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are all expected to conclude their military duties this June, setting the stage for a full seven-member reunion. For ARMY, the 2025 FESTA is not only a celebration of the past but also a signal of the bright future ahead—with OT7’s return just around the corner.
