Bigg Boss 19’s Weekend Ka Vaar had a refreshing twist as Farah Khan stepped in to host the episode in Salman Khan’s absence. She was joined by Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, who were promoting their upcoming film Jolly LLB 3. What stole the spotlight, however, was Farah and Akshay’s playful banter that immediately sparked nostalgia among fans.
During the episode, Farah Khan and Akshay Kumar reunited on stage after years, reminding fans of their 2010 collaboration, Tees Maar Khan. Known for its quirky humor and over-the-top storyline, the film may not have set the box office on fire back then, but it has enjoyed a second life in meme culture, cementing its place in pop culture. The reunion led Farah to cheekily ask Akshay if it was time for a sequel.
She later took to Instagram stories and shared a picture with Akshay from the Bigg Boss 19 set, captioning it, “Tees maar khan 2 banaien kya?? @akshaykumar such fun hosting together.” The post sent fans into overdrive, with many demanding a follow-up to the heist comedy.

For those who may not recall, Tees Maar Khan was a remake of the 1966 Italian film After the Fox. Directed by Farah, it featured Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles, with cameos by Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor. Despite its lukewarm box office performance, songs like “Sheila Ki Jawani” became chartbusters and remain iconic to this day.
Adding to the fun, another clip from the show showed Akshay Kumar sharing a lesser-known fact about Farah Khan, giving audiences a glimpse into their off-screen camaraderie. While details of what he said are still making the rounds online, the moment highlighted the genuine bond the two share.
