Shah Rukh Khan, widely celebrated as the ‘King of Bollywood’, has achieved yet another career-defining milestone—this time in the form of a prestigious National Film Award.

After ruling Indian cinema for over three decades with unparalleled charm, versatility, and box office dominance, the iconic actor has been honoured with the National Award for Best Actor for his compelling performance in Jawan.

The accolade not only marks a personal first for Shah Rukh but also places him in the history books as the first among the Khans to win in this coveted category.

The win has sparked celebrations nationwide, with fans, critics, and industry colleagues alike flooding social media with admiration and joy.

Among the many voices of praise is that of long-time collaborator and friend Farah Khan, who expressed her happiness with a heartfelt message.

“Congratulations my dearest @iamsrk On winning the national award!! This time the shiddat se koshish really came thru,” she wrote.

Echoing the excitement of fans, Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman and Jawan co-star Ridhi Dogra took to social media to extend their congratulations to the 59-year-old actor. He wrote, "Legend congratulations (heart-eyed emoji)"

Ridhi Dogra on the other hand, took to X saying "hared a heartfelt note on X, “The best news. The best film. This fake mother of her Jawan son is over the moon with real joy @iamsrk congratulations (six red heart emojis) bigeesssttt love to you and @Atlee_dir and entire team !!!” Additionally, the 40-year-old actress posted an Instagram story and wrote, “The Best News. For the best film. Your film @atlee47 Our film. Like you said, the awards deserve you @iamsrk All Of them. Always."

While this latest honour is momentous, Shah Rukh Khan’s trophy shelf already features some of the world’s most distinguished accolades. These include the Padma Shri—India’s fourth-highest civilian award—bestowed by the Government of India, as well as two of France’s highest cultural honours: the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour.
