What was meant to be a night of nostalgia and euphoria at a sold-out Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium took a heartbreaking turn, as a man in his 40s tragically lost his life after a fatal fall during the show.

As per News18, the incident occurred at approximately 10:19 p.m., just as Liam and Noel Gallagher were performing to a sea of fans gathered to witness the much-awaited reunion tour.

Emergency services rushed to the scene immediately after the fall, but despite their swift response and efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the venue. Officials confirmed that his injuries were “consistent with a fall,” though the exact circumstances surrounding the tragic event remain unclear.

As per the report, authorities are now investigating the incident and have appealed to the public for assistance. It is believed that parts of the accident may have been captured on video—either intentionally or by chance—by concertgoers filming the performance. Police have urged anyone with relevant footage to come forward, in hopes of gaining clarity on how the fall occurred.

As of Sunday evening, 3 August, no arrests had been made, and the Metropolitan Police had not released further details about the precise location or cause of the fall. The identity of the deceased has not yet been made public, pending family notification.

The Gallagher brothers released a joint statement in response to the tragedy:
“We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night. Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved."

Wembley Stadium also issued a brief message:
“Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers."

Despite the somber development, the band is set to continue its tour, with their fifth consecutive Wembley performance scheduled for later that evening, followed by two final UK shows in September.
