Exclusive: Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab to release in December, says source

Rebel Star Prabhas is ready to cast his magic on the silver screen with his next romantic horror drama The Raja Saab. Directed by Maruthi, the movie has created a huge buzz for a long time for being one of the biggest of the year.

A source close to the movie told MoneyControl that the makers are in the plans of locking December 5th as the release date for the Prabhas starrer. As per the latest industry grapevine, Raja Saab is set for a lavish box office debut on December 5, 2025. There has been no official confirmation on the release date yet but as per sources, it might get confirmed in a day or two. Keeping the Christmas holiday season in mind, and especially when Prabhas is arriving, no other actor would take the risk for a box office clash, the makers are said to be thinking this could be the best time.

While Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar will play the female leads, the Raja Saab also stars Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The film also stars Bollywood veteran Sanjay Dutt in an important role, which makes the project even more star-studded.

Directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory, the film is a shift from Prabhas’ recent high-voltage characters, and Maruthi promises a different take on the combination of romance, comedy, and supernatural elements, among others. The film's music is scored by S.S. Thaman and, in the light of his successful legacy of chartbusters, music lovers are looking forward to his album as well.

Till an official announcement and teaser is coming out, all eyes are set on The Raja Saab which is becoming one of the most awaited releases of this holiday season.
