Exclusive: Mouni Roy joins Megastar Chiranjeevi's next for a special dance number

Bollywood actress Mouni Roy has been signed on to co-star with Chiranjeevi in a special item song, which is further generating buzz about the movie.

With just one significant scene — a high-energy item number — remaining to shoot, megastar Chiranjeevi's eagerly anticipated socio-fantasy movie Vishwambara is almost finished. With massive support from UV Creations, the film, which was directed by Bimbisara director Vassishta, is among the most costly and ambitious endeavours in Chiranjeevi's career.

Postponed Release Because of VFX Rework

After the team voiced their displeasure with the visual effects, Vishwambara's original release date was pushed back. Consequently, a number of foreign visual effects studios were enlisted to revamp the visuals and improve the visual appeal of the movie. According to sources, post-production is currently nearing its conclusion.

Mouni Roy Appeared for a Stylish Item Number

Bollywood actress Mouni Roy has been signed on to co-star with Chiranjeevi in a special item song, which is further generating buzz about the movie. Mouni, who is well-known for her glitzy on-screen persona in Hindi films, is anticipated to give the movie a pan-India appeal. A source said, " We have been looking for someone special to be part of this song which is an absolute dance number and we think Mouni is the best choice. This is the only song that has been pending out of the entire film and we are sure her debut in the South is going to be a blast."

Oscar winner MM Keeravani wrote the music for the song, which will be filmed in July on a specially created set. The choreography and song are already complete. Trisha plays the female lead.

While Mouni Roy will appear in the special number, the film’s leading lady is South Indian star Trisha Krishnan, who reunites with Chiranjeevi after years. According to reports, her part in Vishwambara is crucial to the storyline, which combines social themes, mythology, and fantasy into an epic tale.

The release date is still pending

The official release date is still up for debate, despite the fact that the movie is almost finished. With the VFX overhaul and a massive promotional plan in place, the makers are reportedly considering a major festival window for release to maximize the reach and impact.
