Exclusive: Bigg Boss 19: Apoorva Mukhija on participating in Salman Khan hosted show: 'If they are paying me the right amount of money...'

With Bigg Boss 19 already generating buzz ahead of its premiere, fans are speculating which social media stars and influencers might make their way into the controversial reality house this season. Among the names doing the rounds are popular digital creators Apoorva Mukhija and Purav Jha.

In an exclusive chat with Moneycontrol, the duo addressed the swirling rumours about their potential entry into the show.
When asked about their interest in Bigg Boss, Apoorva shared candidly, "I don’t believe in saying whatever is happening in my life till it happens. My luck is bad. I’ll tell you—I didn’t even tell anyone about 'Traitors' until five days before I was leaving for it."

On whether she’d consider entering the Bigg Boss house, Apoorva didn’t rule it out entirely. "For the right amount of money," she quipped, sparking laughter.

Purav Jha, known for his comic timing and relatable characters, took a more reflective stance. "I don't want to do it now," he admitted. "I enjoy performing, and if I get a chance to perform, I will take it. I have an actor's perspective—I want to act. You will see me in web shows. I’m not ready for Bigg Boss."
He went on to joke, "The day the food will be less, Apoorva will be happy. Apoorva, you go. You should be happy."

Despite the banter, there's clear mutual respect between the two creators. When asked if she had other offers beyond Bigg Boss, Apoorva responded cryptically, "It’s not like that. I don’t believe in it. Until things are confirmed, I won’t say anything."

Whether or not these two creators step into the Bigg Boss house, it's evident that both are focused on building their careers in performance and storytelling. With web series and digital content becoming increasingly mainstream, fans can expect to see more of their talent off reality TV screens too.
