A new show titled Do You Wanna Partner is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video starring Bollywood beauties Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty.
It is a comedy-drama produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and is set to release on September 12.
The show stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty in the lead roles, supported by a cast including Jaaved Jaafery, Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Sufi Motiwala, Neeraj Kabi and Rannvijay Singha. This light-hearted series is directed by Collin D’Cunha and Kumar and will premiere exclusively on the streaming platform.
"Do You Wanna Partner" is a quirky comedy-drama that tracks the ambitious journey of two best friends, Shikha and Anahita (Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty), as they attempt to launch their own craft beer start-up. Defying the conventions of a male-dominated industry, the series charts their spirited efforts to build their business from the ground up.
Through a blend of detemination, clever workarounds, and irregular encounters, the show delivers a sharp and heartwarming exploration of modern female ambition, friendship, and the chaotic highs and lows of entrepreneurship.
Karan Johar, the producer of Do You Wanna Partner, said, “Do You Wanna Partner is audacious, vibrant and unapologetically fun - a story that captures the grit, heart, and hustle of a new generation of entrepreneurs, especially women making their mark in unconventional industries. It’s quirky, emotional, and rooted in the Indian spirit of jugaad. Collaborating with Prime Video continues to be a creatively fulfilling experience for all of us at Dharmatic Entertainment. Together, we’ve brought audiences bold, contemporary narratives that travel across geographies. We’re proud of the colourful, chaotic world we’ve built, and even prouder of the message it carries. I’m thrilled that this story, born from a very local idea, is now ready to charm audiences across the globe.”
Behind the camera, the series was shaped by a phenomenal creative team whose passion and vision are evident in every frame.
