Recently, there were reports that actress Shraddha Kapoor has backed out of Rahi Anil Barve's upcoming thriller, produced by Ektaa Kapoor reportedly after dispute over her fees with the makers, according to PeepingMoon. Now the director has responded to the rumours.
Few days ago, PeepingMoon reported that the Stree 2 actress has exited from the project after the makers reportedly refused her demand for a Rs 17 crore fees.
However, Director Rahi Anil Barve addressed the rumours afloating all over the internet by urging fans not to believe unsubstantiated speculations, without confirming the actress's departure.
He wrote in a post on X, "Please don’t believe any of the rumours currently floating all over the media. We’ll be making an official announcement at the right time. Thank you."

Reports suggest that creative differences arose after the actress allegedly asked for a significant share in the film's profits, which the producers considered unreasonable. This disagreement is believed to have contributed to her stepping away from the project.
The production team is reportedly in discussions with possible replacements and has begun searching for a new lead.

Although, the makers haven't not officially confirmed anything about this development till now. The details of the film have been kept under wraps.
Meanwhile, Shraddha was last seen in Stree 2, which became one of the highest grossing film in Indian Cinema till date.
