Dipika Kakar thanks her fans for their support amid cancer battle, calls them ‘reason of my smile’

Dipika Kakar pens note for her fans

Television actor Dipika Kakar, who is currently battling cancer, has recently penned a gratitude note for her fans and their unwavering support. She also called her fans ‘the reason of my smile.”

Dipika took to her Instagram and shared two black and white photos flaunting her beautiful smile. Alongside the photos, she penned in the caption, “Aaj ek baar phir dil se [today once again from the heart] Thank you for being the reason of my smile so many time…”

She continued in the caption, “jab jab aaplogon ne mere liye dua ki mujhe himmat di i smiled… And iss baar mera birthday special tha alag tha mere liye … mere parivaar ke liye…. (Whenever you all prayed for me, you gave me courage... and this time my birthday was special, it was different for me... for my family....).”

She added, “And AAPLOG bhi uss ehsaas me shamil hue… itne saare msges itni saari wishes and itniii saari duayein … and again u guys made me SMILE with all the lovely wishes flowing in (And you all also joined in that feeling… so many messages, so many wishes and so many wonderful prayers).”

She concluded her post by writing, “Thank You Once Again. Love U All.”

Dipika celebrated her 39th birthday on August 6 and received wishes from her husband, Shoaib Malik and her fans.

This comes after Dipika Kakar was recently diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer and underwent a 14-hour surgery to remove the tumour. During the recovery, she faced a major setback as she struggled with the side effects of the medications.
