The well-known Punjabi singer-actor has now opened a new and exciting chapter in his already remarkable career by collaborating with Rishab Shetty on the eagerly awaited Kantara: Chapter 1.

The singer of Born to Shine expressed his happiness at being a part of the movie's soundtrack on Instagram.

Taking to his Instagram, Diljit Dosanjh shared a behind-the-scenes video that shows Diljit showing up at the recording studio with his trademark charm and contagious enthusiasm.

Visibly ecstatic, Rishab calls himself a “huge fan” of Diljit. The singer reciprocates the sentiment with a warm smile, referring to it as a fanboy moment for him as well.

The video goes on to show Diljit diving into the recording process, working closely with the team and eventually wrapping up a track that, for now, remains under wraps.

But his emotional connection to the project is clear in his caption, “With Big Brother @rishabshettyofficial… Salute to this guy, man, who made the masterpiece Kantara. I have a personal connection with this film which I can’t even explain… I remember watching it in theatres, and when the song Varaha Roopam played at the end, I cried in ecstasy. Now, Kantara: Chapter 1 is coming on October 2. Can’t wait to watch it in theatres. @b_ajaneesh sir, thank you so much… I learnt a lot from you yesterday.”

Directed and headlined by Rishab Shetty, and produced by Hombale Films, Kantara: Chapter 1 is shaping up to be a grand cinematic experience. From breathtaking visuals to a war sequence shot over 45 days with thousands involved, the scale is immense.

The film is set for a global theatrical release on 2 October, in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English.
