On the occasion of Jr NTR’s birthday today, i.e May 20, fans are revisiting the incredible journey of one of Telugu cinema’s most talented superstars. The actor has come very far in his journey and is now popular across the globe.

His first full-length role as the lead was in Ninnu Choodalani (2001). The actor was paid Rs 4 lakh for the film, GQ India reports, a fortune he handed to his mother, not knowing what to do with it. What started then, would become an epic journey which redefined stardom in Telugu cinema.

The actor has seen his market value climb considerably since then. For his recent films – Devara and War 2 – Jr NTR is believed to be drawing a never-seen-before Rs 60 crore movie, firmly establishing him as Indian cinema's heavy hitter.

He is now all set to enter Bollywood with War 2 opposite Hrithik Roshan. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the spy-thriller will hit the theatres on August 14, 2025, and it is the official announcement of Jr NTR making his debut in the YRF Spy Universe.

This play tells the story of Dadasaheb Phalke, who left an accounting job he didn’t like to make the first full-length Indian feature film.

In action and stardom, Jr NTR is all set to don a historic role. He has agreed to play cinema pioneer Dadasaheb Phalke in SS Rajamouli's next making-of-the-movie story, Made In India, the biopic. The research seeks to document the birth and ascension of Indian cinema. Jr NTR is mighty impressed with the vision of this script, though the paper and ink work is still under process. An official confirmation awaited.

He will also team up with KGF director Prashanth Neel for a high-voltage entertainer called NTRNeel, which has created a buzz amongst fans.
