Dhanush stars in Kuberaa in the pivotal role

Tamil actor Dhanush is gearing up for his upcoming film Kuberaa. Fans have been waiting for the release of the film for a long time. However, the makers have recently increased the excitement of the audience with the latest update and a new look.

The makers announced that the first song of Kuberaa will be released on June 20. They also shared a new poster of the film featuring Dhanush.

The official Twitter handle of Kuberaa shared the poster with the caption, “Team #SekharKammulasKuberaa wishes you all a very Happy புத்தாண்டு! (New Year) The much-awaited #Kuberaa1stSingle drops on 20th April… In cinemas 20th June WORLDWIDE!”

The upcoming film also features Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Kuberaa explores themes of money and power, featuring Dhanush as a character who rises from being a homeless man in Mumbai's Dharavi slums to a powerful mafia leader.

The Pan-India movie has been filmed in both Tamil and Telugu, with a simultaneous release planned in Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The upcoming film marks the first time Telugu director Sekhar Kammula and Dhanush have collaborated on a film.

Chaithanya Pingali has served as a co-writer, Niketh Bommi is behind the cinematography, and Devi Sri Prasad is the composer of the film’s music.

Besides this, Dhanush will also be seen in the upcoming Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the upcoming film, which also stars Kriti Sanon, is said to be the sequel of the 2013 film Raanjhanaa.
