Dhanush announces release date for Idly Kadai with new poster

Dhanush shared an exciting update about his next directorial, Idly Kadai, on Saturday, sparking a wave of anticipation among his fans. The announcement has generated considerable buzz, with audiences eager to see the multifaceted actor's latest venture as a director.

He wrote in the caption, "Great to work with such a hardworking, dedicated and sincere actor @arunvijayno1 brother #Idlykadai"

The makers also unveiled the release date of the film. Idly Kadai is set to hit the theatres on April 10, 2025, as mentioned in the poster.While the previous looks hinted at a village setting, the new poster presents a starkly different tone.

Arun Vijay also took to X and shared his excitement for the project, expressing his gratitude. He wrote, "Amazed by your hardwork and dedication on the sets of #idlikadai brother @dhanushkraja! Thrilled to be part of #IdlyKadai. Thank you for making me feel at home. Happy to be sharing the silver screen with you in this high-voltage entertainer that will leave everyone stunned."

Directed by Dhanush, the film stars him alongside Arun Vijay and Nithya Menen in lead roles. It also boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj, Raj Kiran, and several other actors in significant roles.

Idly Kadai marks Dhanush's fourth film as a director, following his previous directorials Pa Paandi, Rayaan, and NEEK.

Dhanush will next star in the lead role in Kubera, alongside Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna. Arun Vijay, on the other hand, was last seen in Vanangaan, which hit theaters in January.
