Dhanashree Verma recently made her first public appearance after confirming her divorce from Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She was spotted at Mumbai Airport, appearing calm and composed despite the ongoing divorce proceedings. Dressed casually in a black sleeveless bodysuit and blue baggy jeans, she smiled for the cameras and responded with a light-hearted comment when asked how she was doing, saying, “Kaam par jaa rahi hoon” (I am going to work). She even posed for a picture with a fan before heading inside.

Dhanashree, a well-known choreographer and content creator, had been in the spotlight due to the rumors about her separation from Chahal. The couple got married in December 2020 after meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic, when Chahal approached her for dance lessons. However, reports of trouble in their marriage started circulating in 2023, and after months of speculation, Chahal’s lawyer officially confirmed the divorce on Saturday. The divorce was filed as a mutual consent petition before the Family Court in Bandra, Mumbai, and the matter is still under legal proceedings.

Amid the divorce news, rumors began to spread that Dhanashree was demanding ₹60 crore in alimony. Her family quickly issued a statement denying these claims, calling them completely false. They emphasized that no such amount had been asked for or offered, and criticized the media for spreading unverified information. They urged people to fact-check before making such claims and spreading unnecessary rumors.

During the same time, Yuzvendra Chahal shared a cryptic post on Instagram, featuring a quote from Ratan Tata: "Your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth." Many fans believed this post was related to the ongoing situation in his personal life. Dhanashree also shared her own post on Instagram, expressing how faith and prayer helped her go from feeling "stressed" to "blessed." She encouraged others to trust in God and surrender their worries.

Both Dhanashree and Chahal appear to be focusing on their careers. Dhanashree continues to work on content creation and collaborations with Bollywood and sports personalities. Chahal, meanwhile, remains an important part of the Indian cricket team and is preparing for the upcoming IPL season. Despite the ongoing media attention surrounding their divorce, both are trying to move forward with dignity and strength.
