Recently, some photos of Deepika Padukone holding a baby went viral on social media, leading many to believe that they showed her with her daughter, Dua. However, it turns out these pictures are fake and were created using artificial intelligence (AI). The photos, which were shared by Deepika's fan club, show her holding a baby and wearing matching clothes. While the baby’s face isn’t visible, some fans found the pictures adorable. Yet, a few sharp-eyed followers recognized the images as AI-generated.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024. The couple, known for keeping their personal life private, has not revealed their daughter’s face to the public. Even though fans are eager to see Dua, the couple has kept her away from the media spotlight.
In December 2024, another set of photos featuring the family—Deepika, Ranveer, and Dua—also went viral. These images, like the recent ones, were also AI-generated and did not depict real moments. This trend of spreading AI-created images of the couple and their daughter has raised concerns, as people are being misled into thinking they are real.
Moreover, on December 23, 2024, Deepika and Ranveer hosted a special event where they met with the paparazzi to introduce their daughter. During the event, they ensured that the media respected their privacy. No cameras or phones were allowed during the meeting, but the couple did take pictures with the photographers using their own devices.
Since the birth of Dua, Deepika has been taking a break from her work commitments. However, she made her first public appearance after the birth when she attended the 25th anniversary event of Cartier in the Middle East. Deepika looked stunning in a black flowy gown from the JADE by Monica and Karishma collection. She shared photos from the event on her social media.
