Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been in the news due to her exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit with Prabhas. There were reports that the actress had a fallout with the director over many issues, including the paycheck. And adding fuel to the fire, Vanga then made a cryptic post on his X account hinting at Deepika walking out and her PR overwork ruining the movie's future.

A day later, Deepika has responded in a subtle yet strong way with her most recent public appearance for a Cartier event in Stockholm.

While the uproar around her departure raged online, Deepika made a stunning appearance at a high-profile fashion gala in Stockholm, representing Cartier as their global ambassador.

Walking the red carpet with worldwide luminaries, the Kalki 2898 AD actress looked elegant and confident, undeterred by the recent clamor.

Deepika did not specifically address her departure from Spirit in an interview with Vogue Arabia, but her words indicated clarity and conviction in her decision-making. "

“I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful, being authentic. Whenever I am faced with complicated or difficult situations, I listen to my inner voice and make decisions that give me peace. That’s when I feel most in equilibrium.”

Rumors around her choice point to artistic differences as primary factors for her departure.

According to reports, Deepika, who just became a mother, sought an eight-hour work schedule, a sizable payment, and a cut of the film's revenues.

These requests apparently did not correspond to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's concept for the film.

Following Deepika's departure, Vanga sent a cryptic remark on X (previously Twitter) that alluded to sentiments of betrayal without specifically identifying her. He accused an unknown actor of breaking trust and revealing plot details. "When I describe a narrative to an actor, I have complete trust... You didn't receive it. You won't receive it. "You will never get it," he tweeted, tagging #dirtyPRgames and using a Hindi adage about bitterness, which fueled internet discussion.

Vanga has now announced Triptii Dimri, well known for her role in Animal, had been cast to replace Deepika in Spirit. The casting update fueled the flames, as fans and insiders debated professionalism, creative freedom, and the expectations of female actresses in big-budget films.

Deepika's supporters claim that her proposals represent a rising need for better work-life balance in the entertainment business, particularly among working mothers.
