After months of staying away from the public eye, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made a much awaited appearance at the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai — and it felt like a breath of fresh air.

The couple, who welcomed their daughter Dua last year, have rarely been seen out together since stepping into parenthood. But after waiting for so long, they arrived together at Mukhesh Ambani's residence Antilia, dressed in outfits that complemented each other beautifully with green and gold outfits that perfectly captured the festive spirit.

Deepika looked elegant with her hair tied back in a soft bun, wearing a clearly embroidered kurta that reflected her quiet elegance. Ranveer, always one to make a statement, also opted for an equally rich ensemble — but what really caught people’s attention was his clean-shaven look, a stark change from the rugged bearded style he sported during the shoot of Dhurandhar.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were also seen in the video.

Noted singer Harshdeep Kaur, who was also at Antilla for the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, shared some lovely pictures with Deepika and Ranveer.

The video clip that surfaced online was short — just a few seconds — but it was enough to leave fans feeling emotional. For fans seeing them together after so long, smiling and at peace, felt like a moment all fans were actually waiting for.

Since the birth of their daughter Dua in September 2024, Deepika and Ranveer have been focused on their little family. They’ve kept things beautifully private, choosing not to share photos of their baby and requesting that the media respect her space. A recent leaked video of Deepika and Dua at an airport sparked outrage online, as fans rallied to defend the couple’s right to protect their child’s privacy.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is gering up for his next release, Dhurandhar which is going to be released on December 5. In a recent update, the film's first look will be shown with Param Sundari in theatres tomorrow.
