The trailer of Nithiin and Sreeleela's upcoming film Robinhood was unveiled on March 23 at a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad. Adding to the excitement, Australian cricketer David Warner, who has a special cameo in the film, was also in attendance. In a lighthearted moment, Warner joined Nithiin and Sreeleela on stage as they taught him some dance moves, making the event even more entertaining.
At the film’s pre-release event, David Warner was seen trying to match the steps of Sreeleela and Nithiin on the song 'Adhi Dha Surprisu' from the film. After a successful attempt, Warner shared a light-hearted moment with his co-stars on the stage. The video clip in which they are dancing has become viral on social media.
In another viral video, David was also seen doing the popular hookstep of Srivalli song from Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa.
David Warner arrived in Hyderabad to a warm reception on Sunday morning, greeted by an excited crowd eager for autographs. Holding a massive bouquet, the Australian cricketer graciously interacted with fans who had gathered to catch a glimpse of him.
His cameo in Robinhood was recently confirmed by the filmmakers, adding to the film’s anticipation. The trailer showcases Warner making a grand, massy entry, marking his much-awaited debut in Indian cinema. This doesn’t come as a complete surprise, as Warner had already won hearts during the COVID-19 lockdown by sharing videos of himself dancing to Indian songs, further endearing him to fans.
Robinhood features an ensemble cast, including Nithiin, Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, Aadukalam Naren, and Mime Gopi in significant roles. Directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is all set to hit theaters on March 28.
