In a shocking road rage incident in Mumbai’s Versova area, Crime Patrol actor Raghav Tiwari was brutally attacked on December 30. The incident occurred when Tiwari, while crossing the road, accidentally collided with a biker. Despite apologising immediately, the situation escalated when the biker, identified as Mohammad Zaid, allegedly the son of film director Parvez Shaikh, responded with abuse and violence.
According to Tiwari, Zaid’s anger quickly turned physical. The biker dismounted, stabbed Tiwari twice, and kicked him to the ground. Zaid then retrieved a liquor bottle and an iron rod from his bike's trunk to continue the assault. In an attempt to defend himself, Tiwari grabbed a piece of wood and managed to knock the bottle from Zaid's hand. However, the attack intensified as Zaid struck Tiwari twice on the head with the iron rod before fleeing the scene.
Friends of the actor promptly rushed him to a nearby hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries. Despite the severity of the assault, Tiwari’s attempts to file a police complaint were met with delays. The actor claimed that law enforcement officials, even after reviewing CCTV footage of the incident, failed to take immediate action or make any arrests.
Describing the attacker as a "professional knife attacker," Tiwari expressed his frustration over the lack of accountability and action.
Tiwari, who has also appeared in several Bollywood films, is now calling for justice, urging authorities to take swift and decisive action against the perpetrator.
