Comedy Mixtape festival in Mumbai

Comedy Mixtape, a vibrant multi-artist comedy festival, is set to make its India debut at the esteemed Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai after experiencing great success in the United Arab Emirates. This two-day comedy extravaganza, presented by EVA Live in association with Midas Events and DXB Live, is scheduled for May 30 and May 31, 2025.

Comedy Mixtape is bringing comedy to the big stage and transforming it into a full-scale entertainment spectacle, in contrast to traditional stand-up performances that are frequently held in smaller, more intimate venues. It promises to elevate the way Indian audiences interact with stand-up comedy by offering both laughter and a festival experience.

The festival's lineup of comedians, each with their own unique voice and style, is outstanding and varied. Rahul Subramanian's incisive, thought-provoking comedy follows Aakash Gupta's well-known observational humour to start off Day 1. Alongside Gen Z favourite Urooj Ashfaq, the effortlessly endearing Gaurav Kapoor, and the distinctively eccentric Mohd. Suhel and Saurabh Pandey, Ravi Gupta will bring his signature spontaneity to the stage.

With Harsh Gujral's hilarious storytelling and Biswa Kalyan Rath's unconventional observations at the forefront, Day 2 promises to be just as captivating. The event will come to a powerful close with the unique voices of Ashish Solanki, Onkar Yadav, Rohan Gujral, and Punit Pania, as well as the relatable wit of Gurleen Pannu and the darker humour of Kaustubh Aggarwal.

Speaking on the vision behind the festival, Deepak Choudhary, Founder of EVA Live, said, "Our vision for Comedy Mixtape is to create an inclusive sanctuary where laughter transcends generational divides and cultural boundaries." Echoing this sentiment, Deepak Pawar of Midas Events noted the festival's goal to "push the boundaries of live entertainment." Meanwhile, DXB Live’s EVP, Khalid Alhammadi, described it as "a community event that brings people together through laughter."

More than just a live show, Comedy Mixtape aims to reshape the landscape of stand-up comedy in India by showcasing talent, innovation, and unity. Tickets are available on District by Zomato, with prices starting at ₹1499.
