Coldplay, the Grammy-winning band renowned for their electrifying performances, is bringing their Music of the Spheres World Tour to India. The band will perform two shows at the DY Patil Sports Stadium in Mumbai on January 18th and 19th, in the year 2025. This marks their return to India following their memorable 2016 performance in the city.

Tickets for these highly anticipated shows will be available starting September 22nd, 2024, at 12 Noon (IST), exclusively through BookMyShow. Fans are advised to follow BookMyShow's social media for any upcoming updates on ticket bookings for the show.

Ahead of their Mumbai shows, Coldplay will release their new album, Moon Music, on October 4th, 2024. The album will be produced with a strong emphasis on sustainability, featuring LPs made from 100% recycled plastic bottles—nine bottles per record.

Since its launch in March 2022, the Music of the Spheres World Tour has sold over 10 million tickets, making it the most attended tour by a group in history. The tour, which spans Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, will also include stops in Abu Dhabi, Seoul, and Hong Kong between January and April 2025.

Coldplay has made significant strides in sustainability with this tour. They have achieved a 59% reduction in CO2e emissions compared to their previous stadium tour (2016/17), surpassing their initial target of a 50% reduction. To date, over 9 million trees have been planted globally, with an additional million planned by the end of the year.
