Chhaava has already sold approx. 1.4 lakh tickets for its opening day on Friday, February 14. As per Sacnilk's advance booking data, the Hindi film is seeing the highest occupancy in Maharashtra and Telangana, followed by Tamil Nadu.

Vicky Kaushal stars as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, a warrior determined to preserve the glory of the Maratha Empire and defend it against the Delhi Sultanate. Akshaye Khanna portrays the antagonist, Aurangzeb, one of the most infamous rulers of the Mughal Empire, adding intensity to the epic battle between the two historical figures.

Chhaava was initially slated for release on December 6, 2024, just one day after the nationwide debut of Pushpa 2.
