Fans of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle have reason to celebrate, as a new report from Variety confirms that Channing Tatum and Rebecca Wang are set to join the English dub cast of the highly anticipated film.
Mitchel Berger, executive vice president of global commerce, made the announcement in an official statement, revealing the entire English voice cast.
During the introduction of the new members, Berger revealed that Channing Tatum's love of anime, particularly Demon Slayer, began when he and his daughter, Everly, watched the series.
“We are excited to welcome Channing Tatum, who discovered his love of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and anime through watching the series with his daughter, along with Rebecca Wang as the English voices of Keizo and Koyuki,” Berger said.
Having voiced Migo in the animated film Smallfoot and Superman in The Lego Movie series, Tatum is no stranger to voice acting. In the English version, Rebecca Wang will play Koyuki in her own way.
Berger also revealed that a number of beloved cast members will return for the Infinity Castle dub, even though Tatum and Wang will be the movie's new voices. Aleks Le will play Zenitsu Agatsuma again, Abby Trott will voice Nezuko Kamado once more, and Zach Aguilar will return as the main character Tanjiro Kamado. Erika Harlacher will return as the composed and accomplished Shinobu Kocho, and Bryce Papenbrook will reprise his role as the gregarious Inosuke Hashibira.
With a mix of new talent and beloved returning voices, the English dub of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle is shaping up to be a treat for both long-time fans and newcomers to the series.
