The latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef delivered an emotional farewell that left not only the contestants but also the judges teary-eyed. Usha Nadkarni, affectionately known as the "Maa of MasterChef," bid adieu to the competition, marking one of the most poignant eliminations of the season.

As the episode unfolded, host Farah Khan introduced three mystery boxes—each assigned to a judge. Chef Kunal’s box contained a single ingredient, while Chef Ranveer’s box held a complete platter. When it was Usha Tai’s turn to choose, she hesitated before selecting Chef Ranveer’s mystery box. Encouraged by Faisu and Ranveer, she opted for the fish challenge. However, this decision would later become a point of regret.

The challenge had a staggered start, with Usha and Tejasswi beginning 30 minutes after those who picked Chef Kunal’s box. As Usha Tai planned her dish, Chef Ranveer advised her to finalize her ingredients quickly. Midway through cooking, Farah Khan reminded her about past mistakes, particularly her struggles with ensuring her meat was thoroughly cooked. Playfully, Usha Tai remarked, "Farah ma’am aake panvati lag gayi," to which Farah responded with mock surprise, "Mujhe panvati bola aapne?"

During plating, a flustered Usha Tai accidentally removed the tail—arguably the best part of the fish. Chef Ranveer was visibly disappointed, and after tasting, Chef Kunal confirmed that the fish was overcooked. Despite well-executed elements, the dish landed her in the bottom three alongside Tejasswi and Rajiv.

When Usha Tai was ultimately eliminated, Faisu broke down, blaming himself for convincing her to take the fish challenge. "I feel guilty. I pushed her towards that mystery box," he sobbed. Usha Tai, ever the mother figure, comforted him, assuring, "I trust you, my Raja. You are my son."

As she left, the entire crew paid their respects, and Chef Ranveer recited a heartfelt poem to honor her journey.
