The latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef was filled with drama, laughter, and some unexpected blunders as contestants took on the challenge of creating a festival-inspired dish.
While some wowed the judges, others struggled with execution, leading to hilarious moments and sharp critiques from the panel of experts—Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Farah Khan.
One of the most talked-about moments of the episode came from Rajiv Adatia, who attempted a flambé technique—a method where food is briefly set alight with alcohol for flavor enhancement. However, things didn’t go as planned.
Vikas Khanna, unimpressed with Rajiv’s technique, humorously quipped, “When you do flambé, we burn the spirit and use the remaining liquid for flavor. You burnt it and then poured it! You have to let the alcohol evaporate first… Talli kar raha hai judges ko?” His playful jab left everyone laughing, but it was clear that Rajiv’s execution missed the mark.
Adding to the critique, Farah Khan gave a blunt verdict: “Had this dish been presented in the black apron challenge, Abhijeet Sawant (now evicted) would have still been here, and you would have been in his place.”
Meanwhile, Gaurav Khanna stole the show with his Holi-inspired dish, beautifully plated to reflect the festival’s vibrant essence. His creativity, featuring a butterfly-shaped tuile, earned high praise from Ranveer Brar, who stated, “Jitna bolna hai bol le, your plate is speaking more than you today!”
Farah Khan was so moved by his effort that she kissed his hands, calling his dish “unbeatable.”
While Usha Nadkarni’s Ganpati-themed dish also secured a top spot, Nikki Tamboli’s time mismanagement cost her dearly. Farah refused to even taste her dish, stating, “If this was an elimination round, you would be out.”
With laughter, praise, and scathing critiques, this episode proved that Celebrity MasterChef is just as entertaining as it is competitive.
