Candace Owens has added her voice to the ongoing legal drama involving Hollywood stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. On her January 8 episode of the Candace YouTube show, Owens criticised Lively's character and questioned her motives in the controversy.
During her commentary, Owens labeled Lively “not a good person” and accused her of using modern feminism as a shield. “Blake Lively is not a kind person. She’s a modern feminist,” Owens stated, alleging that the Gossip Girl star might be orchestrating a smear campaign against Baldoni.
She questioned Lively’s decision to avoid filing a lawsuit directly and instead taking the matter to a civil rights organisation and The New York Times. “Was this just a way to salvage her reputation?” she asked.
Owens also recounted a personal anecdote about Lively during her time as an intern at Glamour, where the actress allegedly gained a reputation for being “difficult” and “rude,” as claimed by an editor. Owens described her as “a bit of a brat” and said, “People know this behind the scenes.”

Owens took her critique a step further by comparing Lively’s actions to Amber Heard’s widely publicised legal battle with Johnny Depp. “This is modern feminism on steroids,” she said, calling Lively’s alleged victimhood “remarkably unlikeable.” Owens added, “Amber Heard returned and gave a statement; I think after allegedly pooping on Johnny Depp’s bed, she should sit this one down.”
Concluding her remarks, Owens expressed confidence in Justin Baldoni’s side of the legal battle, stating, “My money is on Blake Lively being wrong.”
