K-pop boyband BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung often delights fans with his stunning selfies and songs. However, the singer broke the internet with his latest set of photos flaunting his amazing transformation.
BTS’ V, who is currently serving the mandatory military service, recently shared an update on his weight loss transformation on his social media. The singer took to his Weverse and shared two photos from his gym session.
The photos featured V working out in the gym and revealed that he had lost 10 kg. Along with the pics, the K-pop singer wrote, “So recently…! I lost a lot of weight, right? I lost 10 kg…hahahaha. I’ll keep putting in the work.”

The singer posted two photos showcasing his toned physique. In one, he can be seen taking a mirror selfie while sitting on a chest press machine. He opted for a grey vest, hiding his face with a mask and cap for the workout session. Meanwhile, the second photo featured the singer holding an EZ bar, highlighting his muscular arms.
Just days before his military training, V promised his fans during a live broadcast that he would “increase his weight to 86 kg”, sparking widespread interest and discussion among fans about his fitness journey.

For the unversed, BTS’ V started his mandatory military service in December 2023 and is set to be discharged on June 10, 2025. The service is mandatory by the South Korean government for all able-bodied males under 30 and V is fulfilling his duty. Fans are eagerly waiting for him to return with the new music.
On the work front, BTS’ V recently sparked speculation of making his Netflix debut with the popular series Squid Game 3. However, there’s no official confirmation about the same.
