With all BTS members officially discharged from their military service, fans were treated to a fun and candid Weverse live session on July 15 featuring RM, Jungkook, and Taehyung (V).
Among the many amusing discussions, one unexpected discovery caused a surge of enthusiasm among the fan base: V is now the "strongest member" of BTS.
Koreaboo reported that the three had a heated discussion about who among them is currently the strongest.
Jungkook swiftly seconded RM's unexpected announcement that V had now overtaken him. “Shocking news, Kim Taehyung is stronger than me now,” RM declared during the livestream. Jungkook backed him up with a laugh, adding, “He’s stronger than me too.”
RM jokingly referred to himself, Jungkook, and V as the group's self-proclaimed “workout crew,” but admitted that both he and Jungkook have now been outpaced by V in terms of physical strength. While he and Jungkook primarily concentrate on bodyweight exercises, V adopted a more rigorous regimen during his military service, according to RM, who also shared the reason for V's transformation.
“Taehyung joined the special unit and started lifting weights. He’s bigger than us. We can’t even finish the sets he does now," RM said, leaving fans both amused and thoroughly impressed.
Since then, fans have taken to social media to celebrate V's amazing physical transformation as the revelation has gone viral. When the news broke, ARMYs were ecstatic and flooded social media with posts praising his commitment. “Taehyung being the strongest BTS member in 2025 was not on my bingo card but I AM HERE FOR IT,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Taehyung strongest & biggest member just confirmed. He works so hard.” A third comment read, “Taehyung, the strongest member of BTS, is the best. He is always a brave man in word and deed.”

In addition to encouraging light-hearted competition among the members, this amusing exchange has brought attention to V's self-control and development throughout his military career, which has won him more admirers worldwide.
But the livestream wasn't just all about gym stories. In a major update that thrilled ARMYs, Jungkook confirmed that BTS’s comeback album is currently in the works and is scheduled for release in spring 2026. This upcoming album will mark their first full-group comeback in four years, making the announcement a significant moment for both the band and their global fanbase.
