Billboard announced On March 11 (local time) that K-Pop boy band BTS singer Jimin’s solo track Who had successfully secured a spot on the Hot 100 chart for an impressive 32nd consecutive week.

For the week ending March 15, the song ranked at No. 41, continuing its strong presence on the chart.

With this achievement, Who has now set a new record as the longest-charting song by a K-pop soloist on the Hot 100. It surpasses the previous milestone of 31 weeks, which was held by PSY’s legendary 2012 hit Gangnam Style for over a decade.

In addition to setting a new record, Who has now tied with BTS’s Dynamite as the longest-charting song by a K-pop artist in Hot 100 history. This marks yet another remarkable achievement for Jimin on the global music scene.

Meanwhile, Jimin’s solo album MUSE, which released last year, continues to make history by extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop solo album on the Billboard 200. In its 33rd consecutive week on the chart, MUSE ranked at No. 154, maintaining its strong presence.

The album’s success doesn’t stop there—MUSE also secured its seventh non-consecutive week at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Albums chart. At the same time, Who remained steady across multiple charts, landing at No. 23 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 24 on the Global 200, and No. 26 on the Streaming Songs chart in its 33rd week.

At present, BTS members Jimin and V are fulfilling their mandatory military service after enlisting in December 2023. Jimin is serving with the artillery brigade of the 5th Infantry Division, while V is stationed in a different unit, having enlisted a day earlier. Their expected discharge date is June 2025, coinciding with the return of fellow BTS members RM, Jungkook, and Suga, who are also completing their service.

With Jin and J-Hope having enlisted earlier, BTS’s military hiatus is set to conclude in 2025, sparking anticipation for a grand comeback. Once all seven members have completed their service, fans eagerly await their long-awaited reunion and the continuation of their musical journey together.
