BTS member J-Hope's upcoming solo world tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE, has kicked off with an explosive start as tickets for the Seoul leg sold out within an hour of presale.

Scheduled for February 28, March 1, and March 2, 2025, at the KSPO Dome, these concerts mark the beginning of J-Hope’s highly anticipated solo journey. However, the excitement was accompanied by frustration among fans over ticketing policies, particularly the exclusive benefits offered to US ARMYs for the North American presale.

The presale for the Seoul concerts, held exclusively for BTS’ global fan club members, opened on January 14, 2025. Despite the restricted access, tickets were snapped up almost instantly, leaving countless fans unable to secure a spot. Social media buzzed with reactions, with fans dubbing the chaotic experience the "BTS Concert Ticket Battle Era." While some celebrated J-Hope’s immense popularity, others lamented the difficulty of obtaining tickets, even as fan club members.

The controversy intensified with the announcement of the North American leg of the tour. BIGHIT Music revealed that presale access for these shows would be restricted to US fan club members, sidelining international fans. Many ARMYs voiced their displeasure, urging the agency to ensure equal privileges for global memberships.

The North American leg kicks off on March 13, 2025, at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, followed by stops in Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, and Los Angeles. J-Hope will then continue to Asian cities like Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka, concluding the tour on June 1, 2025.

To accommodate fans unable to attend, live online streaming options will be provided for select concerts.
