Vedang Raina has shared an update on his upcoming film as he enters an exciting new chapter.
The actor, who is all set to star in Imtiaz Ali’s next film, recently visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings before the cameras started rolling.
Accompanying him was his co-star Sharvari, and the two took a quiet moment away from the spotlight to pray and reflect.
Taking to Instagram, Vedang shared a series of heartfelt photos from their visit, along with a note that offered a glimpse into his mindset. “Asking for strength and blessings to show up better every day. All in and surrendered to begin this next chapter of my life and ready for whatever it takes from me and gives to me,” he wrote.
In the pictures, Vedang is seen in a simple white kurta and blue jeans, with an orange cloth featuring the Khanda symbol respectfully tied around his head.
During the prayers, Sharvari sits next to him, and the two of them seem at ease and rooted in the spiritual environment. Another photo showed a film clapboard—marking the official start of shooting on Imtiaz Ali’s new project.
Reflecting on the moment, Vedang added, “Grateful to be a part of this special film and privileged to be working with the most amazing and talented set of people @imtiazaliofficial @naseeruddin49 @diljitdosanjh @sharvari Sukh aur Shanti.”
Sharvari, too, had marked the beginning of this journey in her own way.
On Dussehra, she posted a story on Instagram revealing that she couldn’t be home for Saraswati Puja, so she held a small ceremony in her room.

Her script, lovingly adorned with hibiscus flowers, sat at the centre. “Couldn’t be home for Saraswati Puja today, so I did my own little puja with the script in my room. Happy Dussehra! Vijay Dashmi ki Hardik Shukkam Nai! Starting to shoot a very special film with a very special director and team,” she wrote.
Sharvari was last seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2 and is currently working on Alpha with Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol.
Vedang, who starred in Jigra with Alia Bhatt, now finds himself on yet another promising path—this time under the direction of the acclaimed Imtiaz Ali.
