Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari are teaming up for the first time in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming romantic family entertainer.
While fans had been buzzing about the film under the tentative title Prem Ki Shaadi, it has now been officially confirmed as Yeh Prem Mol Liya.
Photographer Ravendra Singh Bhadauria recently shared a picture on Instagram of the clapperboard, clearly revealing the title, putting all rumours to rest.
According to Mid Day, the next leg of the shoot is set to begin this week at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai, with the team aiming to wrap up by January 2026.
The film went on floors in Mumbai on 1 November, and fans have already caught glimpses of Ayushmann and Sharvari shooting at a railway station, which went viral on social media. The actors recently completed a week-long shoot for the film’s first song in Kandivali, Mumbai, featuring a huge ensemble and 200 background dancers.
Now, the team is gearing up for a 60-day schedule at Mehboob Studios, focusing on the emotional and family sequences. Indoor sets spanning three floors have been built to ensure continuity and capture the story’s emotional flow.
A crew member told Mid Day, “The team plans to wrap up the shoot by January 2026. Almost 80 per cent of the film will be completed in Mehboob, with a few outdoor patch portions. The idea is to maintain the creative continuity and shoot the emotional graph of the story in one flow.”
Alongside Ayushmann and Sharvari, the film also stars veteran actors Anupam Kher, Seema Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles.
Produced by Rajshri Productions in collaboration with Mahaveer Jain Films, Yeh Prem Mol Liya promises to deliver the warmth, charm, and heartfelt storytelling that Barjatya’s films are known for.

Speaking to PTI ahead of the shoot, Sooraj Barjatya admitted he was feeling the familiar pre-shoot jitters. “I’ve this nervousness before the shoot of every film. This has been there even when I made my first film, Maine Pyaar Kiya, it’s (nervousness) still the same. As a creator, it’s not about how much box office (numbers) it will do, it’s about whether you’re able to connect or not, with that thought or scene.”
He added, “For me, whether it’s a film or a show, everyone should feel that the world that I’m creating is honest, it shouldn’t look fake, like everyone should feel that this is how my house is. That is my biggest challenge. I want to make what I know, it’s important to make every kind of film, but it’s important to make family films.”
