As the calendar turns to November, Bollywood’s eternal superstar Shah Rukh Khan is preparing to celebrate his 60th birthday on 2 November.

True to his understated yet stylish persona, SRK has decided to spend the day surrounded by the people who mean the most to him, his family and close friends at his picturesque Alibaug home.

As per a report by Times of India, invitations have already been sent out to the actor’s inner circle, with guests expected to arrive from 1 November.

“Invites have already gone out to his close ones to head to his Alibaug place and they will be reaching his place from 1st November onwards and they will be bringing in his birthday with a lot of fanfare,” they shared.

For decades, Shah Rukh’s birthdays have been synonymous with the sea of fans that gather outside Mannat, his iconic Bandra bungalow, hoping to catch a glimpse of their idol. But this year will be a little different.

With Mannat currently undergoing extensive renovations, the Khan family has temporarily moved to a rented home, prompting SRK to shift his annual celebration to Alibaug, a location that has often served as his peaceful retreat from Mumbai’s chaos.

The anticipation is heightened by the increasing talk surrounding his upcoming big-screen release, the highly anticipated action thriller King, which was helmed by Siddharth Anand.

Fans are speculating that a special reveal related to the movie might also take place during the birthday celebrations.

A few weeks ago, social media went into a frenzy when a supposed CBFC certificate for King surfaced online, fuelling talk of an impending teaser or announcement.

The film, which pairs SRK with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time, also features an impressive ensemble including Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff.

After his triumphant 2023 with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, Shah Rukh’s message at 60 is clear — age may be a number, but his reign remains timeless.
