Actor Shah Rukh Khan marked the occasion of Eid on Saturday, March 20 by extending heartfelt wishes to his fans, spreading a message of peace, happiness and togetherness.

Taking to Instagram, the superstar shared a striking picture of himself dressed in a dark green sherwani, paired with a black silk salwar. With a graceful salaam gesture, the actor embraced the festive spirit in his signature style.

Accompanying the picture, he wrote, "Here’s wishing you and your families a joyful, peaceful and blessed Eid. Love and light to one and all, may we get all that we pray for and more… Eid Mubarak!!"

Soon after the post went live, fans thronged the comment section, sending back love and festive greetings to the actor, often referred to as the ‘Jawan’ star.

On the professional front, Shah Rukh is gearing up for his next big-screen outing, King, which is being directed by Siddharth Anand. The film boasts a strong ensemble cast including Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat and Raghav Juyal in pivotal roles.

Earlier this year in January, the makers officially announced the film’s release date through a social media post, confirming that King will hit cinemas on December 24, 2026.

The caption read, “#KING is Ready to ROAR on 24.12.2026 in Cinemas. #ItsKingTime #KingDateAnnouncement.

The video for the announcement started with the bold title ‘ROAR,’ placed against a dramatic backdrop, immediately hinting at the grandness of the film. This was followed by the line, “This Christmas, fear wears the crown,” which gives a sneak peek into the thrilling nature of the film.
