Veteran actor Satish Shah, widely loved for his iconic role in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, passed away on October 25 at the age of 74. The actor had been battling kidney-related complications.
His manager Ramesh Kadatala confirmed the news on Saturday afternoon.
Ramesh Kadatala, who has been Shah's personal assistant for over 30 years, said the actor passed away at his residence in Bandra east in the afternoon.
"It seems he passed away from a heart attack, however we are awaiting the final reports from the doctor about the reason behind his death,” Ramesh told PTI.
With a career that spanned over four decades, Satish Shah earned immense love and respect for his unforgettable performances across films and television. He rose to fame with his standout role in the 1983 cult classic satire Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, where he brilliantly portrayed multiple characters, showcasing his exceptional comic timing and versatility as an actor.
