Salman Khan has had a great influence on Bollywood. He has been a mainstay in the business for many years because of his charisma, charismatic demeanour, and capacity to engage audiences of all ages.
However, beneath the charm is a very sensitive side that still treasures the experiences that moulded his path. He talked candidly about one such early-career memory in a recent interview: an incident that made him cry on the set of his first movie, Maine Pyar Kiya.
When asked about his favourite film, Salman didn’t hesitate for a moment before naming the romantic classic that introduced him to the world.

He shared a heartwarming story from the shoot of the song “Kabootar Ja Ja Ja.”
The actor said, “I was about 18 years old, and there was a truly memorable moment during the shoot for the song ‘Kabootar Ja Ja Ja’ when I suddenly knew that this was the role for me. During several narrations, I’d imagine Jackie Shroff or Anil Kapoor in those roles, but I could never actually see myself doing big films. That moment was the first time I really felt, ‘Yes, I can do this’. I had tears in my eyes.”
It’s a rare glimpse into the heart of a superstar. At just 18, Salman experienced a moment of clarity that many spend years searching for — the moment when you know this is exactly where you belong.
Salman doesn't appear to be slowing down even now. Fans are anticipating his upcoming high-octane war drama, Battle of Galwan, which has already made waves online.
Salman may return to the kind of poignant storytelling that has characterised some of his most cherished work if he and Kabir Khan reunite for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.
Salman Khan's journey from tearful-eyed beginnings to dominating the box office serves as a reminder of the emotional foundations that even the biggest stars are driven by.
