Sachet-Parampara, a musical duet consisting of Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur, played a concert at Balurghat, West Bengal, on New Year's Eve. When people started to swarm their car and smash the windshield, what could have been a touching moment of admirers showing affection quickly turned frightening.
Parampara is seen filming Sachet in the automobile in a video that was uploaded on a paparazzi account. Sachet is seen waving at supporters gathered close to their automobile at the start of the video. When someone taps loudly on their windshield, he leaps and exclaims, "Oh s**t." "Guys, relax," says Parampara.
The windshield behind them breaks as they continue to wave to supporters, and Sachet appears horrified while Parampara exclaims, "Gaya, gaya (It broke)." As security guards try to manage the people who are crammed inside the car and attempting to record footage, a brawl breaks out.
However, Sachet-Parampara have not addressed the incident on their social media. They wished their fans on New Year and penned, “Happy New Year to all our dear people who stood by us! may 2026 be extraordinarily good and healthy for all of you. Mahadev Sabki Raksha Karein. #namahparvatipatayeyharharmahadev.”
Additionally, they shared a video that Parampara took throughout the performance, in which they counted down the seconds before the New Year.
Sachet-Parampara, a vocalist, lyricist, and music composer, is well-known for their roles in movies including Jersey (2022), Tanhaji (2020), Kabir Singh (2019), and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017). They created the partnership the next year after finishing as finalists on The Voice India in 2015, and they were married in 2020.
Recently, Sachet-Parampara composed and sung Tu Hai Meri in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Humsafar in Saiyaara.
