Rumors of a 2026 wedding have been spreading widely, leading to endless speculation on social media. Recently, Rashmika has shared her thoughts, providing fans with a glimpse into her feelings while still maintaining an air of mystery.
In a candid conversation with The Hollywood Reporter India, Rashmika addressed the wedding chatter while also talking about her upcoming films. True to her thoughtful nature, she chose not to confirm or deny the speculation, leaving admirers eagerly guessing.
“I wouldn't like to confirm or deny the marriage. I will just say when it's to be spoken about, we shall,” Rashmika said when asked if she wants to confirm or deny her rumoured marriage to Vijay.
She added that she wants to take her time before sharing anything with fans or the media, emphasising that such moments should be revealed on her own terms.
The actress’s comments come as whispers of her wedding gain momentum. Last month, HT reported that Rashmika has already started preparations, including a scouting trip to Udaipur to explore possible venues for what is expected to be a “grand celebration.” While nothing has been officially confirmed, the reports have only fuelled excitement among fans.
Rashmika and Vijay were quietly engaged in Hyderabad this past October. Although the couple did not make a public announcement or share photos, Vijay’s team confirmed to HT that the engagement took place and that the pair plan to tie the knot in February 2026.
Their relationship is said to have begun during the filming of Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019), and over the years, they have often been seen together at events and celebrations.
