Rani Mukerji and Kajol brought a wave of warmth and nostalgia as they reunited just ahead of Durga Puja celebrations in Mumbai.
The two beloved cousins — and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai icons — made a graceful appearance at one of the city’s grand pandals, reminding fans once again why they remain so cherished, both on and off-screen.
On Saturday evening, the duo was seen soaking in the festive spirit as they sat together in front of the beautifully decorated Durga idol.
The two looked absolutely stunning as they offered prayers and grinned broadly for the cameras while wearing exquisite traditional sarees, Kajol in a cream one and a bright red blouse, and Rani in a traditional white drape. They were clearly connected, and the occasion felt both celebratory and intimate.
Fans online were quick to react. “So cute! Mini KKHH reunion,” wrote one. Another commented, “Two Bong beauties in one frame. How good they are looking in sarees!” And of course, one fan summed it up best: “Tina and Anjali reunion from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Love these two ladies.”
Rani, who has had an incredible year professionally, recently attended the National Film Awards in New Delhi, where she won the Best Actress honour for her moving role in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway.
She shared the spotlight with Shah Rukh Khan, who received the Best Actor award for Jawan, and Vikrant Massey, recognised for his stellar work in 12th Fail.

Kajol, too, has kept busy with back-to-back projects. She made a comeback in the courtroom drama The Trial, where she plays Noyonika Sengupta, a woman battling both personal and legal issues, following her success in the supernatural thriller Maa.
The show, which is available for streaming on JioCinema, has received praise for Kajol's powerful performance and has a strong ensemble cast.
Their reunion at the pandal felt like a charming throwback to simpler times — a celebration of sisterhood, tradition, and the joy of coming home during Durga Puja — even though both actors are still making significant progress in their careers.
