Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra are gearing up for the release of Varanasi. Directed by S. S. Rajamouli, the film boasts an impressive budget of over Rs. 1300 crore.
According to 123Telugu, the movie's announcement teaser is about to make history, sending fans into a frenzy. It has been announced that Varanasi will be the first Indian movie to screen its promotional material at Le Grand Rex in Paris.
The screening is scheduled for January 5, 2026, at 9:00 p.m.
The reports were confirmed by Aanna Films, a French distributor of Indian films. With the teaser displayed in a rich manner on a big screen, this is anticipated to draw crowds.
Rajamouli is doing all in his power to keep Varanasi in the public eye. The crew plans to release the picture in March 2027 after eight more months of filming.
This film, which is being produced by K. L. Narayana under Sri Durga Arts and S. S. Karthikeya of Showing Business, stars Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. Oscar-winning composer M. M. Keeravani wrote the soundtrack, and Vijayendra Prasad wrote the script and narrative.

The first look of the film was officially unveiled in November at a lavish event in Hyderabad. The upcoming Telugu-language epic fantasy science fiction action-adventure film is produced by Sri Durga Arts and Showing Business. The film marks Priyanka’s Telugu debut.
The action-adventure movie, which will be released in theatres on Sankranthi 2027, also stars Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Mahesh Babu will star in a dual role in the film.
