Actors Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra recently added a lovely new chapter to their lives with the arrival of their first child, Saraayah, on July 15 of this year.

Just a month later, Kiara Advani's movie War 2 hit the cinemas on August 14, marking a whirlwind period where she was managing new motherhood as well as her work, related demands.

While talking to Vogue, Kiara Advani shared her thoughts regarding the viral bikini scene from War 2, reflecting on how her body had changed after giving birth.

Kiara Advani shared that, these days, her remedy for mental exhaustion is simply listening to Saraayah giggle in her sleep. “Such moments and motherhood in general have shifted my relationship with my body,” she explained.

She added that worrying about losing a kilo or changing her shape now feels trivial compared to the perspective motherhood has given her.

Talking about the bikini scene in War 2, filmed for the song Aavan Jaavan, Kiara Advani said she had trained with “immense discipline,” only for the film to release shortly after she had delivered her baby, when her “body looked so different.”

Reflecting on the experience, she said, “After delivery, a part of me thought, ‘I’ve done this before, I’ll do it again.’ Then I realised it’s not about having the best body. When I look at my body, I think, ‘Wow, you created a human.’ Nothing compares. Now, whatever shape or size I am in, I will always respect my body. You have to respect what your body can do for you.”

The video of her bikini scene quickly went viral on social media, but Kiara Advani’s candid reflection has resonated even more, offering a refreshing perspective on postpartum confidence and self-love.

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotras relationship was speculated a lot by the media and the fans from 2020 onwards, particularly after their 2021 film Shershaah was released. The pair never talked about their love lives openly and tied the knot on 7th February 2023 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, surrounded by the love of their close family and friends.

Their daughter Saraayah, who came to this world this year, has become a wonderful new chapter in their lives.

On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra, who appeared in Param Sundari earlier this year, will next be seen in Vvan.
