Bollywood icon and legendary actor Dharmendra, passed away on Monday (November 24) at the age of 89. Bollywood actors, cricketers, sportspersons, and politicians shared emotional posts regarding Dharm Ji’s death and called it the ‘end of an era.’ All of Dharmendra’s die-hard fans will get to see him one last time on the big screen in the upcoming film ‘Ikkis’ alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Agastya Nanda.
On Tuesday, Jaideep took to his Instagram account and shared an emotional tribute to his co-star.
Jaideep also shared some BTS from the sets of the show. Sharing a series of pictures with Dharmendra on Instagram, Jaideep Ahlawat wrote, “Kuch nahi hai aisa jo keh paaunga. Bas Itna ki Aapne jo pyar diya Mujhe unn thode se dino main. Main vo Umar Bhar yaad rakhunga Sir Aap bahut yaad aayenge. This World will miss the one and only Jatt Yamla Pagla Deewana. RIP Dharam ji @aapkadharam.

Dharmendra’s final film, Ikkis, offers a powerful look into the extraordinary life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra.
Directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, the biographical war drama stars Agastya Nanda and is scheduled to hit theatres on Christmas, 25 December 2025. On Monday morning, the makers unveiled Dharmendra’s poster from the film, where he plays the father of the 21-year-old immortal soldier.
The announcement was shared on Instagram along with a poster carrying the film’s release date. The caption read, “On 25th December, bravery marches into cinemas. Witness the untold true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra hero. #IkkisTrailerOutNow – Link in bio. #Ikkis in cinemas worldwide this Christmas.”
