Mahima Chaudhry and Sanjay Mishra starrer Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shadi’s trailer released on December 4, increasing the excitement among the fans.
The 2-minute 50-second trailer starts with Sanjay Mishra searching for a bride for his son, Murli, played by Vyom. Vyom then meets Mehak-Palak Lalwani, whom he wants to marry. However, his family does not allow their daughter to marry into a house without women.
The trailer then takes a dramatic turn with the search for a bride for Murli's father, Durlabh Prasad, as there are only two sons and a father. Meanwhile, Babita is shown in the trailer as a bold lady who drinks and smokes cigarettes.
The trailer has struck a chord with audiences and received praise for its refreshing concept, humour, and strong family appeal.
Directed by Siddhant Raj Singh, the film features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Mishra and Mahima Chaudhary, as well as Vyom Yadav, Palak Lalwani, and Shrikant Verma.
Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shadi is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 19.
The makers have previously opted for captivating promotional methods. Previously, Mahima and veteran actor Sanjay Mishra left their fans baffled after they were spotted wearing wedding attire.
The video soon went viral on social media, which later turned out to be a promotional video. The actors were spotted posing for shutterbugs in wedding attire.
The video came after the makers released a motion poster for the movie on social media. The poster features Sanjay Mishra with a photo of Mahima in a wedding dress.
The poster was captioned in Hindi, “Dulhan mil gayi hai, ab tayaar ho jaiye, kyunki baraat nikalne wali hai, aapke nazdeeki ya thode door ke cinemas se (The bride has been found, so get ready, the wedding procession will soon begin, either at your nearby or slightly distant cinemas).”
