    BTS’ V has once again found himself at the center of online discussion, this time, not for his music or fashion, but for his natural appearance. The singer’s latest airport visuals have gone viral, attracting both admiration and harsh criticism from netizens.

    On October 25, V was spotted at the airport, departing for Los Angeles after receiving a personal invitation from Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour to attend the prestigious “Vogue World” event, which celebrates the intersection of film and fashion.



    Dressed in a grey overcoat layered over a brown sweater and tailored trousers, V kept his look understated and minimal. Yet, despite the simplicity, V’s appearance quickly became a trending topic across multiple platforms.

    Several online users criticised his barefaced visuals, pointing out that the idol looked “different” from his usual polished image.


    Some mocked his outfit choice, while others questioned his relevance at such a high-profile event.



    The commentary soon spiraled into negativity, with a few even dragging in the recent Zionism controversy linked to his Coca-Cola collaboration.


    However, loyal ARMYs and fans from across the globe have fiercely defended the BTS member, calling out the unrealistic beauty standards in the K-pop industry.



    They praised V’s decision to appear with minimal styling, calling his look “refreshingly authentic” and “true to himself.”


    V aka Kim Taehyung debuted with BTS in 2013. He was praised for his baritone voice and unmissable stage presence.

    His solo record includes chart-topping singles like Singularity, Stigma, and Inner Child, as well as OST successes like Sweet Night from Itaewon Class and Christmas Tree from Our Beloved Summer.
