Netflix’s latest supernatural-horror film Baramulla has been receiving widespread praise since its release on the streaming platform on November 7.
The film has garnered positive reviews for its gripping story and suspenseful narrative. To preserve the suspense and surprise, the makers have now made a special request to the viewers.
Director Aditya Suhas Jambhale took to Instagram to ask fans who have already watched the film not to share spoilers, even while recommending the movie to others.
He expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming response and wrote, “Hi everyone, feeling overwhelmed with the love our film Baramulla has received… However, it is a humble request that when you urge others to see the movie (which we are really really GRATEFUL to you for), please do not spoil the concept & climax of the film. We have kept it under wraps to ensure you guys experience the story unfold in the best way possible, and we want the same for those who you recommend this film to.”
He further added, “Thank you once again for the countless messages and calls I have received all day today. Let's make Baramulla one of the most successful movies of the year.”
The film stars Manav Kaul in the lead role of DSP Ridwaan Sayyed. Set in the serene town of Baramulla, Kashmir, the story follows Ridwaan as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of children. According to IMDb, the official synopsis reads, “A police officer investigating missing children cases discovers disturbing truths while supernatural occurrences threaten his family and Baramulla's tranquility.”
Produced by Jio Studios and B26 Studios, Baramulla has been co-produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. The film’s combination of suspense, supernatural elements, and strong performances has made it one of the most talked-about releases on Netflix in recent times.
