Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh broke the internet after they revealed the face of their daughter Dua in a heartwarming Diwali post.

The couple’s Instagram pictures captured intimate family moments, celebrating the festival of lights together. Deepika shared the pics with the caption, “Heartiest wishes for Diwali.”

Soon after Deepika posted the pictures with Dua, several fans and celebrities took to the comment section to shower love on the family.

Urvashi Rautela also commented, “Awwww little deepika.” Rakul Preet Singh added, “god bless.” Sonu Sood dropped three red heart emojis.

However, several fans also dropped “Nazar na lage” comments. While some fans called Dua cute, others drew comparisons with Deepika.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's relationship

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in 2018 after they fell for each other on the set of Ram-Leela in 2013. The couple secretly got engaged in 2015.

Deepika and Ranveer expanded their family and welcomed their first daughter, Dua, on September 8, 2024. They shared a heartfelt message along with their daughter's name, Dua Padukone Singh, with the world on Diwali last year.

The couple wrote, “Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude.”

Upcoming projects

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have a busy schedule ahead. Ranveer is gearing up for the upcoming action thriller, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar.

Meanwhile, Deepika was recently announced as the female lead for a sci-fi film from filmmaker Atlee and co-starring Allu Arjun. The film is produced by Sun Pictures and is tentatively titled AA22 x A6.

Deepika will also star alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the new action thriller King, which also star Suhana Khan in the lead.
