Ajay Devgn is currently celebrating the box-office run of his latest release De De Pyaar De 2. In an interview, he has opened up about one of the most frightening moments of his life that left him shaken and has stayed with him for decades.

The actor who has often performed his own stunts in films, revealed that he once saw a man plunge to his death during a skydiving session, moments before it was his turn to jump.

Speaking to BookMyShow, R Madhavan praised Ajay Devgn’s daredevil spirit on screen. “He has jumped out of a plane, skydiving, without any practice. He has done it in a movie," Madhavan said.

Ajay then recounted the chilling memory that occurred at a skydiving facility. “As soon as I reached, I saw someone fall because his parachute didn’t open, and he died—right in front of me. And it was me next," he said.

He further shared that Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly faced a similarly dangerous situation at the same location. “Something similar happened with Leonardo DiCaprio, but his instructor jumped after him and saved his life. You will even find a message from him there that reads: ‘Thanks for saving my life.’"

While the first film was directed by Akiv Ali, the sequel is helmed by Anshul Sharma and written by Luv Ranjan, who has also co-produced with Bhushan Kumar. The cast sees new additions such as Ishita Dutta.
