Bollywood actor Aamir Khan celebrated turning 61 on March 14. To mark his special day, he told his fans in a video greeting that he has chosen to concentrate on his acting endeavours.

I have been working hard at selecting scripts now for the upcoming films. And last 6 months I’ve only been listening to scripts. So I’ve finally decided on the next couple of films that I’m going to be doing."

He further added, “And here onwards, Aamir Khan Productions- because I used to spend a lot of time with my production house as well- is going to be handled by Aparna Purohit. And I am focusing on acting. So hopefully you will see a lot more work from me as an actor."

Additionally, Aamir Khan revealed that two films from his production company will be released this year. Lahore 1947 will be published in August after the first movie, Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, is released on May 1. Additionally, he made reference to "Ati Sundar," a project that is anticipated to be released at the end of the year.

Ek Din is directed by Sunil Pandey and produced by Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit under the auspices of Aamir Khan Productions. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on May 1st, 2026.
